We are currently seeking multiple part-time instructors to join our Community Living Services (CLS) team! As part of this dynamic department, you will be working closely with individuals to help them achieve and maintain their independent living skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to:
Provide lessons and habilitation services as required by the Individual served
Facilitate the acquisition, retention, and improvement of adaptive skill and behaviors
Educate and develop Individual’s served on interaction and social skills within the community
Teach and encourage the proper leisure activities, along with the use of leisure time
Educate and enhance financial management skills
Teach and improve Individual’s understanding of how to safeguard, enforce, and implement policies to guard against financial, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse or exploitation
Provide training to the Individual as indicated on the ISP, to assure acquisition, retention and improvement of adaptive skills and behaviors as appropriate
Skills and Abilities Required:
Ability to train, motivate and challenge clients while establishing and maintaining a friendly relationship.
Have the ability to maintain professionalism with clients, staff and willingness to work cooperatively in a team.
We desire excellent spelling and grammar skills.
Have basic knowledge of office procedures.
Should have basic knowledge of vehicle purchasing and maintenance issues
Must be able to operate business machines, computer equipment, cellphones, and adaptive equipment used in agency services without difficulty
Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License
